Refund policy

30-day returns

Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused. Polishes and sprays must be unopened. Elbows that have been welded, cut or installed don't count as unused.

Return shipping

The buyer pays return shipping unless the error is on our end.

Start a return

Email support@americandieselshop.com with your order number and the details of your return or order issue. Contact us before sending an item back so we can provide return instructions.

Exchanges

If you ordered the wrong size, email us within 30 days of delivery. As long as the elbow is unused, send it back and we'll ship the size you need once it arrives. You cover shipping both ways, and we'll charge or refund any difference in price. If we sent the wrong size, we cover the shipping.

Damaged or wrong item

If your order shows up damaged, or it isn't what you ordered, email support@americandieselshop.com within 7 days of delivery. Send your order number and photos of the part and the box. Keep the packaging until you hear back from us. We'll send a replacement or refund you, and we'll cover the shipping.

Defects

If your elbow has a defect in the material or the welds, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We'll replace it or refund it, and we'll cover the shipping. This doesn't cover damage from installation, cutting, welding or an impact. Stainless steel can change color from exhaust heat. That's normal and isn't a defect.

Refunds

Once your return gets back to us and we've looked it over, we refund your original payment method within 5 business days. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. The original shipping charge isn't refunded unless the mistake was ours.

Warranty

If your order arrives damaged or isn’t what you ordered, or your elbow has a defect in the material or welds, we’ll replace it or refund it and cover the shipping under the deadlines and conditions above. These remedies are provided through our Refund Policy. We don’t offer a product warranty.
